A Zoologist’s Life

Lots of people have written their goals down in their diary of life. Some have a dream to build forever standing monuments, and others want to draw their story. Everyone has their own idea of their future. As for me, I want to be a zoologist. It’s fun to research animals, and find out things that no one knows.

First of all, I want to become a zoologist because I love animals immensely. For example, animals are creatures that are exciting and mysterious. Sometimes you expect them to bite you, and instead, they can surprise you by doing the opposite. Another example is, even if you can’t go to a zoo, you can very well read up books on animals. There’s millions of facts about animals with their own twist to their stories.

Second of all, I love to mix chemicals and do research. Firstly, studying animals and learning about them helps you learn great things. Maybe you thought elephants are meat eaters, but they are vegetarians. Maybe you thought foxes are prey, though they are predators. Each animal has their own different tweaks. Secondly, some scientists do multiple tests on animals. When they do, they take animal hair and see what it’s made of. You might learn that octopi have three hearts, or sharks grow more teeth when they lose their old ones. Animals have different bits and pieces that humans don’t have.

Lastly, being a zoologist is cool. For instance, not many people want this certain job. They would rather be an engineer or a doctor. Zoologists are a class by themselves. Additionally, being an animal lover, I would be thrilled to be surrounded by lovely animals all the time. Feeling, hearing, and seeing animals can make anyone feel good about themselves.

In conclusion, being a zoologist can be stunning. By being an animal scientist,  I want to show that along with humans, animals are the legionaries of earth and are equal to us in every way.

People do all kinds of jobs. Some people are in the medical profession. Others serve (army/navy/air-force). Some teach. Others sell. Many work on computers and build softwares. What kind of job would you like to do in the future?

Write an essay (5 paragraphs) giving three reasons to explain why you want to take up that job.
